For the next three days (Wed 16th – Friday 18th March)
Bowerhaus will be donating 100% of all profit from online sales
to help those directly affected by the Japan Earthquake Tsunami
through the Australian Red Cross.

The huge 9 magnitude earthquake and more than seven metre tsunami, which hit north east Japan has killed more than 2,000 lives, and thousands are missing and injured.

Authorities say the total death toll is anticipated to exceed 10,000 people…
to put this in comparison, that's more than double the deaths of 9/11.

Monday-spirtation with Lachlan Allen

Meet Lachlan Allen, a gifted artist and a long time family friend. Although he is only in his 20's, this amazing artist has won several international awards with his latest victory, the Designer Rugs Evolve Awards. This competition received over 850 submissions from Australian and New Zealand interior design professionals, and only 25 entries were short-listed as finalists to be voted by the industry and the general public to win the People’s Choice Award. 

Designer Rugs are acknowledged as the Australian company for handmade, custom-made rugs and carpets. Working closely with Australia’s top designers, architects and artists for over 24 years, as well as collaborating with leading creatives Akira Isogawa, Dinosaur Designs, Catherine Martin and indigenous artist Minnie Pwerle, to name a few – Designer Rugs remain at the forefront of floor surface design, and Lachlan is definitely the designer to look for! LOVE!!!

I have been honored to have known Oliver from young, and this up incoming artist will definitely take the world by storm!
